Suzanne Jalbert Jones

Suzanne's greatest love is educating, and she holds a BM in Vocal Performance from the New England Conservatory as well as a Masters in Choral Conducting from the University of New Hampshire. She treats each student as an individual with different musical strengths and weaknesses. She focuses on expression and uncovering the natural voice, while pressing students to explore interpretive ideas and deeper meanings in the music. She requires all young singers to study piano, as she strives to send musicians into the world, not just "singers." She delights in learning from her students and collaborating with them on recitals, auditions, projects, and competitions.

Christina DeMaio

A graduate of the New England Conservatory with a BM in Vocal Performance, Christina believes in creating individualized goals and plans for each student based on their own unique abilities and passions. Stylistically, Christina teaches a diverse variety of repertoire, including contemporary, classical, and music theatre. She encourages her students to develop theory and ear training skills in addition to vocal technique, helping them to establish a strong musical foundation for their future. Actively a professional vocalist herself, Christina has developed strategies for successful auditioning and role preparation which she is excited to share with her students.

Junior Choir is a musical group for musicians in grades 1-5. Members are exposed to various styles of vocal music, play the hand chimes and percussion instruments all while learning sight-reading skills, basic ear training and introductory vocal technique. This ensemble provides an opportunity for young singers to learn important music and vocal skills with their peers.  Junior Choir sings during the 10:00 AM church service a few times each year. The bus from Lincoln Street School and Main Street School drops off at church for rehearsal.

Rehearsals: Thursdays / 3:15-4:30

Parish Choir is a musical group comprised of singers ages 12-90! Members rehearse and perform challenging music from the Renaissance period to current, modern choral music. The choir often collaborates with musicians from all over New England, including an annual concert accompanied by an orchestra. Choir regularly sings during the 10:00 AM church services, as well as Christmas, Easter and Good Friday services. This is an excellent way to improve pitch, blend, and sight-reading skills, and singers of all ability levels are welcomed!

Rehearsals: Thursdays / 7-8:30
