A dazzling ensemble cast tells the story of Pippin, a young prince desiring passion and adventure; he seeks it in the glory of war, the temptation of romance, and the intrigue of politics. Soon, he wonders if happiness lies not in the extraordinary, but rather in the ordinary moments that happen every day. Our summer workshop presentation of Pippin features over 30 teen performers who will mount this musical in only two weeks as part of the Pine Street Players at Christ Church's annual Summer Session, all while taking classes in acting, voice, and dance.

The audition process is very low-pressure as everyone who auditions is guaranteed a role; further, our fall musical is double-cast based on age, featuring a junior and senior cast. The rehearsal process strikes the perfect balance of recreation and skill-building, offering a safe and supportive environment that welcomes performers of all experience levels while maintaining high standards and producing an impressive youth musical.
