Page to Stage (JUNIOR CAST: Grades 1-6)

In this imaginative 10-week endeavor, performers collaborate to write and perform their very own short-form play! For the first 5 weeks, performers will be guided through the process of brainstorming plot, developing characters, and crafting dialogue; in the second 5 weeks, the play will be brought to life with stage direction, acting techniques, and the storytelling magic of live theatre. The final class will be a world-premiere showcase of this one-of-a-kind new work! Imaginations run wild, learning feels like play, and every student shines!

SCENE STUDY (SENIOR CAST: GRADES 7-12)
TUESDAYS | 4:30-5:30
Explore the craft of acting through scenework with a focus on believable characters, clear objectives, dynamic tactics, and working with a scene partner to bring stories to life. Through guided practice, students will build confidence in making dynamic choices in the rehearsal room and gain a deeper understanding for the craft of acting.

MASTERS & MONOLOGUES (SENIOR CAST: GRADES 7-12)
TUESDAYS | 4:30-5:30
Dive deep into the techniques of five legendary acting teachers: Stanislavski, Strasberg, Adler, Meisner, and Hagen - one master per week. Performers will use one monologue throughout the class, applying different techniques to see which master speaks to them most. Experiment, adapt, and discover which approach unlocks your unique talents as an actor.

IMPROV (JUNIOR CAST: GRADES 1-6 / SENIOR CAST: GRADES 7-12)
JUNIORS (GRADES 1-6): WEDNESDAYS | 6:30 - 7:30
SENIORS (GRADES 7-12): TUESDAYS | 3:30 - 4:30
Learn to say “YES, AND …” to your creative impulses! In this laughter-filled class, performers will build up their confidence, energy, and imagination. Quick-thinking skills will be put to the test in high-energy games centered on listening, collaboration, and world-building. Learn the fundamentals of improvisational theatre in a welcoming and supportive environment lead by PSP favorite Mr. Nick!
