Working Advisory Group (WAG)

ANNA ELBROCH is thrilled to be a part of PSP’s Working Advisory Group. Both of her daughters, 9 and 12, continue to benefit from PSP’s comprehensive offerings. Anna has represented at-risk youth as an attorney for sixteen years, and as a result, values opportunities to inspire youth and put them on a path for success. She now provides education for juvenile justice and child protection professionals, while also sitting on the New Hampshire Board of Psychologists.

JASON FARIA and his wife, Ami, came to Christ Church in 2017, and found a place that nurtures a community for young and old alike. PSP accentuates those characteristics by not only welcoming and nurturing youth, but by challenging them to support one another in reaching their full potential. Jason is excited to lend his thirty yeas of labor and community organization-building experience to sustaining and growing this important program.

SAM FISK lives with his wife, Linda, at Riverwoods in Exeter. He practiced clinical psychology in Cambridge for thirty-five years. Sam has always had an interest in music and dance, and has joined a number of choruses over the years. When in college at Brown, he was active in musical theatre, as well as managing a singing group called the Jabberwocks. His interest in young people has never waned, from his professional commitments to serving in the Peace Corps in Ethiopia as a teacher. He now loves his special role of being a grandparent to his daughter’s five children.

ALLAN MAYO is excited to be joining PSP’s Working Advisory Group, and is very much looking forward to working with The Pine Street Players at Christ Church. He resides in Exeter with his wife, Jill, and their two daughters, Kallie (9) and Reilly (7). Allan is currently employed as the Director of Elementary Education at the Congregational Church in Exeter. He is also a proud member of Actors Equity Association, and a teaching artist who has worked throughout Boston and the New England region.

BENITA O’CONNELL has lived in Exeter for twenty-six years, and attends Christ Church Exeter where she is a member of the choir, has served on the stewardship committee, and volunteers with Seacoast Family Promise. Benita grew up participating in youth and high school theatre - both onstage and in the pit - and strongly believes that the arts play a critical role in an adolescent’s development. She is thrilled to work with The Pine Street Players at Christ Church to help offer that opportunity in our community.

ROB SIMON grew up in Derry, New Hampshire, and graduated from Plymouth State University with a degree in Business Administration before embarking on a technical sales career in the electronics industry. Rob has been a member of Christ Church for over twelve years, and his family has been active with PSP from the beginning; Rob’s daughter Meara has performed in productions since Cinderella, wife Katie assists with costumes, and son Owen serves as a technical intern. Rob’s other volunteer work has included coaching youth sports and the annual Alzheimer’s Association charity walk.

GEORGE STROUT is currently the Communications Director for NEA - New Hampshire and serves as Treasurer on the Board of Trustees for the Scott McGilvary Children’s Fund, providing for the needs of public school students across New Hampshire. For the past eighteen years, George has also served as the Director of Faith Formations and Youth Minister at Holy Cross Church in Derry. He taught mathematics for ten years at Salem High School, and prior to that was the Communications Director for HADCO Corporation. George’s daughter Katie is PSP’s Head of Dance, and his son Andrew is on staff as a Music Director and rehearsal pianist.
